On Aug. 19, 00 my mother and I traveled to the far north. I was to remain in Anchorage, AK in order to attend University of Alaska Anchorage, and my mother departed.

Alaska was simply gorgeous. Words cannot describe the surroundings. Mother and I traveled to Seward, AK for an overnight stay. We went on a wildlife cruise and visited the Sea Life Center. Seward is perched on the shore of Resurrection Bay and the Kenai (key-neye) Fjords.

You can see from the pictures in the photo album, Alaska is a pretty neat place.
